Ronnie Mugabmi

Ronnie is an audio mixer and sound designer based in Kenya. With over eight years recording audio for award-winning features, documentaries and TV commercials across East and Central Africa, he brings not only expertise but also state-of-the- art equipment. While off the set, you can find him in the studio doing sound design or working as music recording engineer. Originally raised in the same community as our character, Simon Ali, in the central highlands of Laikipia, Ronnie has become a critical member of the team, not only covering all things sound but providing invaluable insight into community dynamics and local mentorship for Simon. He advises on language in the field and in post-production.
