Nicole is a documentary filmmaker and photographer with the central aim to tell stories that inspire people to rethink our relationship to the natural world. Approaching projects from the lens of a shared human experience she uses storytelling as a tool to increase empathy and make an impact.

Mungai Kiroga is a Kenyan screenwriter, director, and producer. In a world that’s filled with stereotypes and assumptions about “others”, Mungai believes in building trust and capturing honest images that center on our shared humanity.

Dr. Kahumbu has been serving as a consulting producer since early 2020 at the outset of this project. She is the CEO of WildlifeDirect, the creator of the HANDS OFF OUR ELEPHANTS campaign, and a 2021 National Geographic Explorer of the Year. She has a Ph.D. in Ecology from Princeton University, where she studied elephants in coastal Kenya.

Vickie is a writer and story architect with over a decade of experience adapting true stories for the stage and screen.

Debra Aroko is a Kenyan filmmaker and producer with a passion for telling stories that capture the nuanced realities of communities facing the effects of a global climate crisis. Her work seeks to highlight the challenges they face while also exploring the resilience and hope that sustain them.

Campbell is a cinematographer with 10 years of experience in documentary and commercial filming. He got his start shooting for an international travel company and over the years he has filmed in over 30 countries.

Caryn produced Won’t You Be My Neighbor? - the critically acclaimed and top-grossing documentary film of 2018 released by Focus Features. She received a 2016 News and Documentary Emmy Award for her role as Co-Producer on Best of Enemies and she was Associate Producer on the Academy Award and Grammy Award-winning documentary, 20 Feet from Stardom (2013).

Peter is a film and television director, producer, and EP with two decades of international production experience. He is committed to developing and producing compelling content with a purpose.

Ronnie is an audio mixer and sound designer based in Kenya. With over eight years recording audio for award-winning features, documentaries and TV commercials across East and Central Africa, he brings not only expertise but also state-of-the- art equipment.

Laissa Malih, is a Laikipian Maasai, the first female filmmaker in her community with interests in documenting, linking, amplifying and scaling up grassroots community voices across diverse indigenous cultures in Kenya and the world.
